Each of us has at least one person in our lives that we absolutely, positively adore. We feel an overflowing amount of love for this individual. Many people are lucky enough to have multiple people in their lives for whom they gush with love. Some people even have an overflowing amount of love for their pets, be that a special doggie, kitty, fishy, birdie, etc. Pets have a natural way of loving us unconditionally.
People who choose to become parents soon realize that they love someone else more than they love themselves. They would in fact sacrifice their own life for the new little being that they have helped create and bring into this world. The love that a parent feels for their child is indescribable. It goes beyond adoration. Parents readily sacrifice their time, health, wealth, and a plethora of other factors for their children. They do this out of love. Parents normally put the needs of their children before their own.
The emotion, feeling, and sensation of love is incredibly powerful. It feels like each of your cells is a volcano that is erupting with love. Your whole being is immersed in love. There is nothing that you wouldn’t do for the person that you love. Whatever it takes to keep them in a good place mentally, physically, spiritually, and emotionally.
Love is very difficult to hide or disguise. It shines through in our actions, words, thoughts, gestures, and even our eyes. When you hug, kiss, or hold hands with someone you love, they can feel that loving energy. It is such a healthy and happy energy. It makes each of us feel safe. It soothes our inner self. We just know that we are loved.
When we wholeheartedly love another being, we are willing to sacrifice for them. Whatever it takes to keep the other being happy, safe, valued, respected, nourished, etc. There is almost nothing that we wouldn’t do for them. Despite the others’ flaws or faults, we still love them. That is where unconditional love comes from. The fact that we love another without restrictions nor conditions. We freely show affection to them without any limitations. Loving someone else so deeply is unselfish. In fact, it can be a type of willful self-sacrifice simply for the sake of the other being’s welfare.
We know that someone unconditionally loves us when we can be completely vulnerable around them, and the other person responds with empathy, care, concern, and encouragement. They do not shame, criticize, nor judge us. We can tell these people the uncomfortable truth, and they help make us feel understood. We feel comfortable and relaxed. People who love you will forgive you for your errors, and they will apologize for their own. They do not want us to hurt. Those who genuinely love you retain their respect for you through disagreements or arguments.
You don’t have anything to prove to the people who love you because they accept you for exactly who you are at every moment in time. We are mutually able to be our authentic selves. You are encouraged and inspired by the people who love you. They genuinely want for you to live the best version of yourself. They will help you in any way that they can. Overflowing love helps you not only celebrate successes, but also get through the tough times in life as a team. We feel completely safe and supported by those that gush love for us, and vice versa.
Loving people listen attentively and compassionately as we divulge our fears, anxieties, worries, concerns, and other negative feelings to them. They show us pure patience throughout life. Compromise and sacrifice are huge factors when someone wholeheartedly loves you. Love is never withheld because it simply cannot be, there is an overflowing amount of love for you, so they simply can’t stop its flow…even through challenging times.
These lovely people are a valuable part of who we are, and we want to keep them in our lives for as long as possible. ‘Til death do us part is not only for marriage vows, but also for anyone that you hold an abundance of love for. Often this love goes beyond the grave, with the living visiting the memorials of their deceased loved ones. Those who have passed on continue to show their ongoing love for us by leaving signs and symbols that they are still around as spirit guides. The bond and connection between people (and animals) who profoundly love each other runs incredibly deep and lasts an eternity.
