LAW OF REBALANCE

Many of us have heard about the law of attraction.  The concept that when we visualize something that we want, believe that it is a part of our life, and take action to make it so, then that which we desire will manifest into reality.  It essentially comes out of our mind and heart and turns into reality in our life.  The mind must think about it, the heart must feel it, the soul must believe it, and the body must take action for it to become truth.  The law of attraction has become popularized by various books and shows on the topic.

There is yet another energetic law that is not as well-known but holds an undeniable truth also.  This is the law of rebalance.  This law entails the necessity for everything to come back into balance, a type of equilibrium.  We can see this law in action within our body.  When we eat too much sugar, and the scales tip too heavy in the direction of sugar overload our body works to offset this imbalance by producing insulin which helps to bring the body’s sugar levels back to a more “normal” state.

Almost everything in our body has a normal baseline.  When something causes us to veer from this baseline, then our body does what it can to try to bring us back to base.  For example, our body temperature can increase to dangerous levels.  Likewise, our body temperature can plummet to dangerous levels.  We have a preset temperature base from which we should not go too far beyond as getting too hot or too cold is harmful to our physical self.  This holds true for blood pressure, pH level, oxygen level, and almost every other aspect of the human body.

We hear about the law of rebalance in numerous stories including that of Oprah and Tony Robbins.  The story of someone who started out with a challenging youth and ended up with a marvelous success story later in life.  Or the reverse, where someone had a beautiful childhood, but later suffered all sorts of hardships.  There will always be the law of rebalance in life.

In more recent times, we have heard about people who have committed various wrongs against others, be that sexual harassment, pedophilia, fraud, evasion, etc.  These wrongdoings were not caught nor punished upfront, but later in years the truth came out into the open for justice to take effect.  It is interesting to note that the symbol of justice is a woman who is blindfolded and is holding a scale which must be in balance.  Any imbalances, such as injustices, must be made right by bringing things back into balance.

We have seen the law of rebalance in action in the lives of various famous people.  When they seem to have reached a high point in their career, and they seem to be slipping into an ego heavy energy, then the universe rebalances things by humbling them in some way, such as a death in the family, accident, or health challenge.  Something happens that causes them to “come back downs” from their high horse vibration.  We have even witnessed this in the 2016 and 2020 US elections, where Donald Trump was repeating how proud he was to win the 2016 electoral college votes by a landslide, and then humbled in 2020 when he failed to win the majority of electoral votes.  This is a prime example of the law of rebalance in full force.

The beauty in the law of rebalance is that we don’t need to worry about whether justice will come of a situation because we cannot escape energetic truths.  The law of rebalance should not be confused with karma.  The definition of karma is the sum of a person’s actions in this and previous states of existence, considered as deciding their fate in future existences.  This is a spiritual principle of cause and effect where the intent and actions of an individual influence the future of that particular individual. Good intent and good deeds by a person contribute to good karma and happier rebirths for that person, while bad intentions and bad deeds contribute to bad karma and bad rebirths.  Many believe karma to be the phenomena of what goes around comes around.  Similar to a boomerang.  What a person puts out in life, good or bad, will one day find its way back to that person.  They will experience exactly what it is that they have said or done in this life, sometime in the future.

The law of rebalance is not a cause-and-effect relationship.  This law seeks to bring everything back into flow.  The scales of our mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical self are to be balanced.  We cannot tip too heavily in any way with regard to these four aspects of ourselves.  This is where faith comes in handy.  When we have experienced challenges and hardships, we should not fall into a state of victimhood.  We should instead rest easy on the fact that this law will eventually work to rebalance things in our life.  Instead of further challenges and hardships occurring in our life, the scales will rebalance and magically we will see things turn around.  We will start to experience blessings that we never imagined.  For example, someone who is born severely handicapped may go on to experience a life of recognition, admiration, and financial wealth later in life thanks to their story.

We see the law of rebalance working in nature and Mother Earth.  Even in business the law of rebalance is at play.  Once upon a time, Kmart was a store that was highly popular with their blue light specials and held a lucrative financial standing.  With time their success diminished as other merchants came into the marketplace such as Walmart and Target.  These stores became instant competition for Kmart, and ultimately plummeted Kmart’s bottom line.  In time, Walmart and Target were soaring high in retail only to have Amazon, eBay, and other online retailers join the business game.  Many retailers have struggled to change and reimagine their way of conducting business thanks to giants such as Amazon.  The point here is that just because a business establishes a mighty success does not mean it will always keep that success.  It is only a matter of time before the law of rebalance comes in to change the tide.  No person, business, animal, or anything else should falsely believe that situations are indefinite and cannot do a complete turnaround…because they can and often do.

Some would say that the law of rebalance is founded on faith.  If we are bold enough to believe that a situation or circumstance can and will change in some way, and we are patient enough for the universe to take action to rebalance things, then we will see justice carried out in every aspect of life.

Someone who is brokenhearted because they discovered that their significant other cheated on them, may simply rest easy in the law of rebalance.  This law will bring a new partner into their life who is completely unlike their cheating lover, and instead is faithful and committed to them.  Meanwhile, the cheating partner will have triggered karma.  They will one day experience what it is like to be cheated on due to their own negative intent and behavior in the past relationship.  Nothing escapes the law of rebalance nor the phenomena of karma.  Thus, we can help ourselves by fully understanding these powerful truths and practice patience as they work their magic.  We will then be able to look back and see all of the ways that these have played a significant role in creating peace within us.
