Your image is a type of energy that you are emitting out into this world. Others will either resonate with the imagery energies that you are exuding, or they will be put off by them. This is one way in which we attract to us what we are. For example, when we are feeling attractive and put on attire that helps to make us feel and look attractive (in our eyes) we will magnetize others who also “agree” with the attractive image that we are emitting. Some people will not perceive our image as attractive (aka won’t resonate) with the energies that we are putting out around us. Those individuals most likely won’t be magnetized to us. In this way, we must be very conscious of the image that we are emitting into this world. Since we attract to us that of which we are, including our image, then we must be clear on what it is we really want. We don’t want to be emitting an attractive image that communicates “I just want sex” when in reality deep down we actually want a committed relationship. The image must align with our inner wishes.
Our image radiates many messages out into our immediate environment. Another example is when we are dressed very professionally. Women and men who are well dressed, with properly pressed business attire are emitting a completely different energy than someone dressed in their attractive nightclub attire. The business suit, tie, heels, and so forth emit messages of professionalism, skillfulness, talent, and discipline. What we wear truly does say something about each of us. It is a type of energetic communication via sight.
We must remember that our image is more than just our attire. It is also our grooming and our hygiene. A lady with painted long nails versus one with short unpainted nails emits different messages to others. A gentleman who has a long beard will often magnetize a different circle of acquaintances than another guy who is clean-cut. An individual with white hair versus colored hair emits certain energies, while someone with no jewelry emits other energies from someone else wearing lots of jewelry. On and on the list goes regarding all of the different factors that communicate different messages for our overall image.
On occasion we may magnetize someone who is quite different from us. They are not necessarily resonating with the imagery energies that we are emitting, but they would like to. In this situation, these individuals are looking to us to help them transform their current image, and they would like their new image to be similar to that of ours. We act as a type of mentor or role model for these people. Think of a CEO of a company whose direct reports are trying to mimic that CEO’s professional image and behavior. Another example is a ballerina who is wanting to be included in a big ballet show and goes out of their way to dress and dance for the part. In this way, our image can be thought of as a type of costume that we wear in order to take on a particular character or role.
We must be very conscious of the image that we are choosing to radiate. It is important to ensure your image is truly aligned with your true self and your genuine desires. A mismatched image can attract to you people and/or situations that you do not really want to experience in life. Conversely, an image that is aligned with what we deeply want in life will help us to attract exactly that. The visual messages that we emit (our image) to the world need to reflect what we intend to communicate, and this is done via the sense of sight. We are not using words to communicate, but we are sending a clear message through our image. It is important to remember that we are able to consciously sculpt our image to our advantage in life.
