Energy can be transferred but not broken nor eradicated. There are many ways to redirect energy. When an electrician comes into a home and wires energy to go to a light source, that is a form of redirecting energy. A person whose cellphone has lost power, and they go plug it into the wall to recharge is yet another example of redirecting energy (from the source in the wall into the cellphone battery). In a hospital, a doctor may use the electrical panels of a defibrillator to “jump start” a person’s heart after they have flatlined. This too is a form of redirecting energy.
There was a lady who arrived at the hospital in labor. She would be giving birth to a beautiful, healthy baby boy later that same day. Upon arriving at the hospital, she was admitted and prepared for delivery. As her body dilated to allow the birth of the baby, she was experiencing each painful contraction since she opted not to get an epidural. Once her body was ready to give birth, she pushed as instructed by her doctor. With each push she yelled because of the pain she was experiencing with the natural childbirth process. The doctor asked her to redirect her energy from the yells coming from her mouth toward her abdomen with each push. The mother-to-be did as advised and held in her next yell and took that same energy and redirected it into the push that she gave to help the baby out of the birth canal. After just a few more redirected energy pushes, her baby was born. When we redirect energy from an area where it is wasted and not achieving a specific goal to an area where it will help to directly achieve the goal, then progress can be made.
We often find ourselves scattering our mental, emotional, and physical energies all over. There are so many distractions nowadays, that it is easy to have scattered energy. Thus, we must be fully aware of all of the areas in our life that we are directing bursts of our energy and reevaluate whether this disbursed energy is truly helping us achieve our ultimate goals. This, of course, requires that we be clear on what our desired goals actually are. Once we have decided what we are attempting to achieve, then we can better redirect our energies to help us toward our destination.
One way that we can determine how to best redirect our energies is to decide what we want. We spend a profound amount of time complaining and thinking about things that we don’t want, like not wanting to lose our home, job, or good health. However, when we list out all of the things that we do not wish to happen in our lives, it is important to create a list right next to it stating what it is we do want. Often this list is the complete opposite of what we don’t want to happen. For example, if we are fearful of losing our job, then we would write down “I don’t want to lose my job” in column A and it’s opposite in column B of “I want to keep my job.” After writing down what we do want, then we can dive deeper into what we want by asking ourselves what we can do to help ensure that what we want comes true. So, in column C we can write “I can keep my job by doing it better than anyone else in the office” or “I can keep my job by specializing my craft, which would make it difficult to replace me”. You can list out as many ideas as you can come up with that support what it is you DO want to happen. At least one of the many ideas will be a winning idea, and help you achieve the outcome that you are truly seeking. The practice of writing down the outcome that you do want, and all of the ideas that can help you achieve that outcome paves the way for action to be taken. You can then try out one or more of your ideas to get you closer to the outcome that you wish for. This is energy being redirected from your mind (in which negative thoughts and imagination were allowed to run chaotically) toward action (where you were actually working on solutions to get you what you want). We can redirect our energies from our mind to our body or from our heart to our mind, and so forth. Thoughts are a form of energy. Feelings are a form of energy, and our body can be used to expend its energy to take action in a variety of ways. We make things happen when we redirect our energy. Some would say that this is like the law of attraction, in which you must align the mind, heart, body, and spirit. Redirecting our energies is much more than alignment, it is literally focusing power on a specific object or outcome. Similar to plugging in a lamp into the wall, the energy in the outlet is now directly going into the lamp.
There are multiple forms of energy. The most basic forms of energy are sound, chemical, radiant, electric, atomic, and mechanical. We are also aware of the fundamental forms of energy which are solar, wind, wave, and thermal which come from the Earth’s basic elements of fire, air, water, and Earth. Since we come from the Earth and will one day return to the Earth upon our death, we must utilize the energies that are innately ours to create the lives that we wish to experience. Thus, we must master the skill of energy management and focus. We are responsible for directing our energies. We choose where and how to focus our energies. We determine the level of intensity and the type of energy that we will direct toward anything. Once you master this ability, you become unstoppable as to what you can create in your life. You can experience way more in a single lifetime so long as you utilize your energies and powers. Wasted energy is pointless. There is no benefit to wasted energy of any sort. Energy at rest is not the same as wasted energy. Energy that is at rest still holds the potential of directed power. Wasted energy is power that is scattered and thus weakened. Think of a lamp that scatters light energy and illuminates a room. When that same energy is purposely focused, such as in a flashlight, the intensity can be much greater. This is similar to how our energy works. If we are multitasking, then we may get many projects started but never complete any of them. However, if we focus our mental and physical energies on completing a single task, we will not only start that project, but often complete it as well. This frees up our time and energy to focus on a second project from beginning to end as well. In this way, we can start and complete multiple projects in a single day. Students who focus on working on homework for a single subject at a time, will learn and achieve more than those who are chipping away and working on multiple assignments during their study time.
Nikola Tesla advised that we think about everything in terms of energy, frequency, and vibration. If we take heed to this advice, then we can begin to apply it to our own daily lives. We must redirect our energy to the things and outcomes we desire. Prior to utilizing our energies, we must first decide what it is we want. What we want must be crystal clear. We can think about this as starting at the end or finish line. When we know what it is we want, then we can work our way back from there to better direct and focus our energies to bring that desire into reality. They say the enemy to progress and success is distraction. Thought another way using energy, the enemy to achievement is scattered energy. Become the master creator of your life, and learn to determine what you want, tap into your energies, and focus them accordingly. It works like magic!
